Around 750,000 cars were affectedMercedes-Benz had to recall around 750,000 cars recently due to a potentially faulty sunroof. The vehicles sunroofs could potentially detach and fly off into the roads causing hazardous conditions for other drivers. The cars included in the recall are the Mercedes-Benz’s C-Class, E-Class, CLK-Class and the CLS-Class, produced between 2001 and 2011. All vehicles included in the recall came with an optional sunroof and the bonding material on those sunroofs has been known to deteriorate enough that the sunroof can come loose. Mercedes-Benz also debuted a new, futuristic-looking car at CES 2020. The car, designed based off of the movie Avatar, had an actual contract with James Cameron’s movie franchise and is called Vision AVTR. This stands for Advanced Vehicle Transformation.
